This blend is recommended for both Rooibos and Chai enthusiasts. The soft pallet of Rooibos surprisingly combines well with the spicy character of Chai. The result is a spicy tea blend.
Chai, also called Masala Chai, has its origins in India. For this they used strong black tea combined with herbs and sweeteners.
There is no set recipe for Chai, but ginger, cardamom and cinnamon are generally one of the main ingredients.
