Most of the spices from this blend were traded on a large scale by the Dutch East India Company (VOC) in the 17th and 18th centuries. Nice detail, the VOC was neighbors of Het Smallest House for almost 70 years.

How does our Zeedijk blend taste?

The Zeedijk blend can be brewed mildly or strongly, depending on the desired intensity and taste preference. For a smoother taste, let the tea steep for 3-4 minutes; for a stronger taste, let the tea steep for 5-6 minutes. To make De Zeedijk melange, use about one teaspoon of loose tea per cup and add water that has just come off the boil (95°C). This way you get a perfect cup of tea, tailored to your personal preference.
