A fresh green variant of the traditional spicy Black Chai. The cardamom, pepper and ginger with a hint of cinnamon complement the refined character of the Sencha and give this tea a soft round taste.
Ingredients: Green tea (79%), ginger, cinnamon, cardamom seed, pepper, cloves, cardamom fruits, aroma.
The base of Green Chai is Sencha. Originally from Japan, this tea is steamed after picking. This gives this tea a characteristic grassy flavour. This blend is a delicious combination of the spicy character of chai and the refreshing qualities of green tea. Green Chai blend offers a flavourful and aromatic experience that stimulates your senses and lets you savour every moment. Indulge in this delectable blend and discover the sophisticated twist this tea has to offer.
Green Chai is a harmonious fusion of the slightly bitter, vegetal flavour of green tea and the warming, spicy flavours of traditional Indian chai. The spices, such as cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and ginger, give the tea a warming and invigorating character. The slight citrusy undertone adds a touch of freshness that blends perfectly with the spicy aromas.
The strength of Green Chai depends on how long you let the tea steep and the amount of tea you use. Generally, this tea does not get as strong as traditional black chai. To brew the perfect cup of Green Chai, we recommend using 1 teaspoon of tea per cup and heating the water to 80-90°C. Then let the tea steep for 2-3 minutes. If you let the tea steep longer, the flavour will become more intense and spicy, but also a bit more bitter. Experiment with the brewing time to determine your perfect cup of Green Chai.
Our Green Chai is a unique combination of delicate green tea and the spicy richness of chai spices. This special blend guarantees an invigorating and versatile tea experience that you can drink both during the day and in the evening. The beginning of this special tea lies in the fine green tea leaves that have been carefully selected for their fresh and slightly bitter flavour profile. This tea provides an excellent base for the addition of warming chai spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and ginger. Together, these ingredients create a harmonious interplay of flavours and aromas that are both warming and refreshing. Green Chai is an excellent choice for those times when you are looking for a pick-me-up, as well as for those moments when you want to relax and unwind.

Green Chai contains the health benefits of both green tea and the spices used in chai. Green tea is known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, while the spices in chai can aid digestion and boost the immune system.
If stored properly, Green Chai can last up to about 2 years. Keep the tea in a cool, dry place and in an airtight container to preserve freshness and flavor.

250 ml milk (or a plant-based alternative such as almond milk, soy milk or oat milk)
1-2 teaspoons honey or sugar (optional) Cardamom, cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish (optional)
Instructions: Heat the water to a temperature of 80-90°C. Add the Green Chai to a teapot or a tea filter in a cup. Pour the hot water over the tea and steep for 2-3 minutes. Meanwhile, heat the milk in a saucepan over medium-high heat. You can also heat the milk in a microwave. Heat the milk until it is hot but not boiling. Froth the milk with a milk frother or a whisk. If you don't have a milk frother, you can also put the milk in a sealed jar or mug and shake vigorously to create foam. Strain the Green Chai and pour in the milk. Garnish with a little grated cardamon, cinnamon or nutmeg.
