A fresh green variant of the traditional spicy Black Chai. The cardamom, pepper and ginger with a hint of cinnamon complement the refined character of the Sencha and give this tea a soft round taste.
Ingredients: Green tea (79%), ginger, cinnamon, cardamom seed, pepper, cloves, cardamom fruits, aroma.
The basis of the Green Chai is Sencha. This tea is originally from Japan and is steamed after picking. This gives this tea a characteristic grassy taste. Sencha is normally picked in spring time.
Chai, also called Masala Chai, has its origins in India. For this they used strong black tea combined with herbs and sweeteners.
