Chun Mee is a popular green tea. It has a dusty appearance and is generally more sour and less sweet than other green teas. Originally produced only in the Chinese Jiangxi province, nowadays it is also grown elsewhere.
This tea is named after Count (Earl) Charles Grey (1764–1845). Legend has it that during a trade trip to Asia this tea was offered to Earl Grey.
The tea is very successful with a nice piece of lemon cake, cheese cake or a piece of chocolate ... Yummie!
