Chocolate and fudge, is there a better combination? Love chocolate and fudge, that delicious sweet treat made from butter, sugar, milk or cream? Then the Chocolate Fudge from Cartwright & Butler is definitely recommended. Smooth and creamy... it melts on your tongue.

Cartwright & Butler has been the address for so-called 'tea time treats' for more than 115 years! A British concept that is indispensable on the tea table. We are therefore very happy that we can sell this beautiful brand in our tea shop in Amsterdam.

Chocolate Fudge from Cartwright & Butler is packaged in a great storage tin with a swing closure. The tin has a height of 11.5 cm and a diameter of 9 cm. This preserves the quality of the fudge for an extra long time. Also nice to use as a tea caddy later!

Fudge is a type of candy made from crystallized sugar, butter and milk. It is often combined with other ingredients such as salt, nuts or chocolate.

What is the difference between toffee and fudge?

Toffee and fudge look very similar at first glance. However, they are quite different from each other. Fudge is made with the ingredients sugar, milk and butter. To make toffee, only sugar and butter are used. Because of this, the structure of both treats is quite different. Toffee is hard and brittle while fudge is soft and crumbly.

Which tea do we recommend with toffee and fudge?

With food - tea combinations you can start from complementary flavors or contrasting flavours. Complementing flavors are based on a similar flavor profile. Creamy, slightly sweet flavors such as Milky Oolong, black vanilla tea and rooibos vanilla go well with toffee and fudge.

With contrasting flavors you look for tea that is the opposite of toffee and fudge in taste and character. A tea with a fresh sour or spicy character can also match well with toffee and fudge. The Sencha Orange Ginger, Green Lemon Sencha or Rooibos Orange go very well with Chocolate Fudge.
