Het Kleinste Huis's Afternoon Tea tasting or High Tea tasting is a total experience. We take you on a journey through the history of Amsterdam and Het Kleinste Huis, the history of tea and the tradition of High Tea. We will explain which teas there are and how best to make and drink them. Of course, in addition to different types of tea, you will also taste the traditional sweet and savoury delicacies that go with Afternoon Tea / High Tea.

Given the limited space we have, booking is unfortunately mandatory. We can only accommodate a maximum of 4 people.
How do you book this Afternoon Tea Tasting?

Please leave your name, your phone number, the desired date, time, number of people and tea tasting course or masterclass of your choice.
We will let you know as soon as possible whether your selected date and time is still available.
You will receive an email with a payment link. As soon as we receive your payment, the tasting is confirmed.
CANCELLATION
It may happen that you cannot make it on the specified day or you want to come with fewer people. No problem, but please let us know in time. That way we can release the tasting rooms in time for other people.
Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours in advance, after which the (down)payment is non-refundable.

Are you considering to give a friend, colleague or family member a tea tasting course or masterclass at the Smallest House? That is possible with our gift voucher! You can even include a personal message. We will then send this gift voucher by post!
(We also send our own home blend with the gift voucher, including an empty tea bag. This way the anticipation can already begin!)

Want to visit us soon for a tea tasting course or masterclass? Due to the limited space we have, reservation is unfortunately required. We can only accommodate a maximum of 4 people per tea room.
How do you book one of our tea rooms?
- Please send an email to reserveren@hetkleinstehuis.nl.
- Enter your name, your telephone number, the desired date, time, number of people and tea tasting course or masterclass of your choice.
- We will let you know as soon as possible if the date and time you selected is still available.
- After confirmation of your reservation, we will send a payment link in which we request a deposit for your selected tea tasting course or masterclass arrangement.

On which days are your tea rooms open?
Our tea rooms are open from Monday to Saturday from 11am to 6pm.
We are also open on some Sundays. Please see current opening hours.
Do I have to make a reservation for a tea tasting course or masterclass?
That is definitely recommended! Our space and facilities are very limited. As a result, we are fully booked almost every day. So book in advance and avoid disappointment.
How many days in advance do I need to book?
Unfortunately, we can only accommodate a very limited number of people at a time in our house. Weekends and Tuesdays are always the most popular with us. Do you want to be sure of a spot? Book well in advance.
Are the tea rooms also accessible for disabled people?
This will differ per person. To reach the tea rooms on the first floor, you must first climb a steep spiral staircase. This will certainly be quite a task for people who have difficulty walking.

How many people can I come with?
Due to the limited space, we can receive a maximum of 4 people at the same time.
Can I come just to drink tea?
Unfortunately not, if you want to use the tea rooms, tea and consumption is mandatory.
I don't like tea. Do you also serve coffee?
Yes, of course! Although our specialty is tea, we also cater to the inveterate coffee drinker in our tea rooms.
Do you also serve breakfast or lunch?
No, in the tea rooms we only serve our teas in combination with a tea tasting course or masterclass.
