What do you need for Iced tea?

How to make Iced tea?

Making iced tea is very simple. Broadly speaking, it does not differ much from normal tea making. Via the step-by-step plan below you will have delicious refreshing iced tea within an hour!

  1. Boil the water and then pour it into a water pitcher.
  2. Cool the water for a few minutes and add the tea through a infuser or a tea filter
  3. Let the tea steep for 3 - 4 minutes
  4. Add a few lemon wedges. Then put the pitcher in the fridge for 5 - 10 minutes to cool down
  5. Has the iced tea cooled down enough? Add the ice cubes. Iced tea is also delicious with a little bit of honey! Let the good times begin!

If you also go to the beach. Then fill a thermos with your iced tea. This way you can enjoy your freshly made drink for even longer!

Making iced tea even easier?

Do you find the above method of making tea too cumbersome? The next method is even easier, but you have to wait a little longer for your result. This method is also known as 'Cold Brew'.

With this method you make tea with cold tap water. You can use Earl Grey, for example. You can also make delicious and simple iced tea from Earl Gray: 6 -7 teaspoons of Earl Gray in 1 liter of cold water. Then let it rest overnight in the fridge.

The next day you can strain out the leaves and drink! Of course delicious with honey or some slices of orange... Yammie!
