A full and very aromatic black tea from the highlands of Sri Lanka.
A fine classic tea that is often drunk in the morning or in the afternoon. For those who are sensitive to caffeine or who would like to drink a cup of Ceylon before going to sleep, this decaffeinated Earl Gray offers a solution.
Sri Lanka is the fourth tea producer in the world. Sri Lankan tea production only started in the mid-19th century. Before this, Sri Lanka was a major coffee producer. But due to disease and fungi in the coffee plants, this industry was decimated. Tea turned out to be a good substitute.
