Decaffeinated Earl Grey (Ceylon)
Earl Grey tea is a traditional black tea blend with a characteristic citrus flavor, originating from the bergamot, a fragrant citrus fruit. This Earl Grey is organically grown.
A fine classic tea that is often drunk in the morning or in the afternoon. For those who are sensitive to caffeine or who would like to drink a cup of Earl Grey before going to sleep, this decaffeinated Earl Grey is perfect!
This tea is named after Count (Earl) Charles Grey (1764–1845). Legend has it that during a trade trip to Asia this tea was offered to Earl Grey.
The tea is very successful with a nice piece of lemon cake, cheese cake or a piece of chocolate ... Yummie!
You can also make delicious and simple iced tea from Earl Gray: 6 -7 teaspoons of Earl Gray in 1 liter (34 fl oz) of cold water. Then let it rest overnight in the refrigerator. The next day you can sift out the leaves and drink! Also delicious with honey or some orange slices ...
