A hearty breakfast needs a hearty tea. The blend of organic teas from India and Sri Lanka (Ceylon) provide a full robust and rich taste. Delicious with a splash of milk or sugar.
Contrary to what you would expect from the name, the English Breakfast Tea was invented by the Scot Robert Drysdale in 1892. He was looking for a tea that fitted well with the protein-rich breakfast of the English. It is now one of the most popular teas in the world.
Fun fact! In the UK, this tea is also known as 'Builder's tea', due to the popularity of this tea among construction workers during their break.
